Meson Sandwiches Relocates Florida Mall Restaurant to New Free-Standing Location

Meson Sandwiches, the popular Puerto Rican restaurant chain focused on sandwiches, all-day breakfast and coffee, announced the relocation of its Florida Mall restaurant to a new free-standing location directly across from The Florida Mall at 8408 Orange Blossom Trail. After more than a decade serving customers from the mall’s Dining Pavilion, the restaurant will relocate on October 1 to a new location, steps away from the shopping center, introducing a renewed restaurant experience for customers in the area.

“This relocation represents an important step in the evolution of Meson in Central Florida. Florida Mall was our first restaurant in the United States and opened the doors for our growth in this market. Moving to a free-standing restaurant with our most modern model will allow us to serve our customers with extended hours and in a more welcoming space,” said Gil Pérez Grajales, president of Meson Sandwiches.

With a $5 million investment and the creation of 40 new jobs, the new Orange Blossom Trail restaurant features 3,000 square feet, seating for 90 guests and 30 parking spaces. It also incorporates improvements in design, technology and operations, including:

  • Double drive-thru for greater speed and convenience.
  • Kiosks to help customers skip the line.
  • Pickup and delivery orders through the “Meson Sandwiches” app.
  • Additional delivery service through Uber Eats and DoorDash.
  • Conference room available for all customers.

Pérez Grajales thanked the Central Florida community for its support and confirmed that the company will continue evaluating growth opportunities in the coming years.

“This new restaurant reaffirms our commitment to the Central Florida community and to all the customers who have made Meson part of their daily lives. We will continue to grow with the same focus that has distinguished us for more than five decades: quality, service and the best sandwiches,” added Pérez Grajales.
